Cost Efficiency: Broadvoice is easy to implement without the need for expensive hardware
Scalability: Easy to add/reduce as locations are added or moved. We have a very rapid and mobile storefront
Flexibility and Mobility: Anywhere there is internet my users can communicate.
Unified Communications: All communications come through a single platform.
  • Very easy to deploy and maintain
  • Price effective
  • Great service and redundancy
  • grouping storefronts under a single "Location" would help us in maintaining the user base. We currently have 200 small storefronts with a single line, they are each set up as a single entity so reporting and switching is a little harder than it should be
Broadvoice is well suited for large location or midsize office structures. Contact centers and single small locations seem to be a little less efficient to handle.

We use B-hive to answer our phones. There is a broadvoice phone on my desk. However, I usually answer the phone through the bhive app on my cell phone. The phone doesn't always transfer the call to the app and when it does it sometimes rings 2 or 3 times before it transfers. Also, when transferring someone from my app, it takes a long time to transfer. I have to type the person to be transferred to's name, then hit transfer, then type their name again, then hit transfer again. Could it be changed so I only have to do this step once?
  • has an app
  • calls going to app quickly
  • calls always going to app
  • ease of transferring calls
It works but in my experience is kind of glitchy

We use Broadvoice for making and recieving calls with our clients in two ways. 1. We use our wifi office phones with no issues or dropped calls and 2. We use the free B-Hive mobile app that syncs to our company number so you can have your office number wherever you go. If you don't want to give your personal number out this is a great alternative. You can receive and make calls through your phone, and it will appear as if you are in the office.
  • Friendly Phone Customer Service
  • Help with Step-by-Step setup
  • Great service / coverage
  • User Friendly
  • Email responses are a little slow
  • Shipping could be a little faster
  • Provide headsets when you purchase the phone
I needed to go out in the field to support our crew and was able to receive calls to my office phone through my cell phone.

As I am a remote worker, this provides me access to my phone and allows me to have text messages sent to my office line
  • Allows text messages to an office line
  • Allows me to use my office line remotely
  • keeps track of all calls and messages
  • sometimes calls are spotty and drop
  • hard to figure out how to get assistance for log in issues
Love the ability it gives me to work from home, however calls are sometimes spotty and drop. The ability to use speakerphone needs a little improvement, as sometimes clicking that drops the call.
The texting and voicemail features are awesome!

It's our company phone system.
  • B-Hive app is great, easy to use
  • Mobile app is really nice. I have my calls ring at both my desk and mobile so I don't miss important calls when I step away from my desk.
  • Great customer support. The difference between our old phone provider who was non US based and Broadvoice is remarkable.
  • I am Administrator for the phones. I wished there was a manual to use for reference.
The sales and onboarding process when we transitioned to Broadvoice was very professional and well managed. When little issues cropped up, they were well handled and caused no stress or strain on me.

We use Broadvoice for our phone service. Before Broadvoice came along, we were using Comcast Business Voice, which was okay but sometimes annoying. We paid for "caller ID," but no name ever appeared on the screen. The features on the phones we used were difficult to learn as you had to memorize a number sequence to perform an action. With Broadvoice, we have had no problems so far, "caller ID" works as it should, I am able to answer office calls from my cell phone, no matter where I am, as well as make outgoing calls from my cell & make it appear to the client I am calling from the office. I no longer have to give out my personal cell phone, which is very nice. When you receive calls, they come in from the app, which makes it very easy to identify when a client is calling versus a personal call.
  • Caller ID
  • Voicemail Recording
  • Transfer Calls
  • Voicemail Transcript
  • Call Recording
  • Sometimes I have to delete the same message multiple times before it disappears from my phone.
Broadvoice has been a great investment so far! It is a cutting-edge system that allows you to handle multiple lines & provides you with many useful features. It doubles the number of lines available with the call park feature. It delivers faxes right to your email inbox, so you can choose whether to print them or not. Through their app, it enables you to answer calls no matter where you are. I highly recommend Broadvoice!

We use Broadvoice as our phone system. My Techs work different shifts and are able to share the support hotline by using the B Hive Application on their device (computer, tablet, or cell) of choice. I also enjoy getting my voicemails via email so I can listen to them at my convivence.
  • They continually update features on the App
  • Reliable seems like there is no downtime
  • Quick Support when needed
  • I think the Mobile app can be improve for iPhone a little
I believe that Broadvoice brand recognition is what really needs to improve, because I believe it can do everything that it's competitors can do and expect that any business in need of a UCaaS solution should consider them.

We are a wireless environment and struggled to identify a solution that could function with this context but also provide seamless integration between the office and mobile users. This became more critical after the pandemic.

We have been able to scale the users and functionality as our business model flexed after COVID and have been able to utilize office voice functionality remotely with seamless functionality.
  • Excellent customer service (little to no wait, professional and courteous support, and effective solutions)
  • Forward thinking with developing a one stop solution for communication.
  • Effective pricing and business model for upgrade rhythms.
  • Since many of the adds Broadvoice is developing are available on other low cost or free platforms we would appreciate an even more aggressive pricing model.
  • I would appreciate integrations with vehicles such as iMessage, FaceTime…basically, Apple environments.
  • Leverage an iPadOS and even macOS experience (especially for devices with the M chip architecture)
I have a multi-layered professional experience that appreciates the scope of application beyond what our unique environment affords. I have been able to recommend Broadvoice to mobile, brick and mortar, and virtual business environments based not only on our experience but also the scenarios I can envision based on our experiences.

Main Phone service (voip) for our office. We use the phones for scheduling clients, billing and claims issues, and any other function necessary to keep our office/business functioning
  • Tech support is usually pretty good
  • Very few issues
  • No issues with phone equipment, good quality
  • Functionality is a little bit of a challenge, like transferring the phones to a remote number and transferring them back to the office. We always have to call and have this done.
  • Some of the IT team are intent on helping, most of the time. I encountered one earlier this week, helping me was not on his agenda. Never be condescending to a client.
This last week, our phones were out of service for two full business days. The phones are critical to our business! I called the first day and was told it was a known issue and that it was an issue with our Internet provider. Later into the second day of no phones, I called again. I was told to contact the internet provider and brushed aside. I pointed out the fact that we pay for his company to manage our phones. He wasn't interested in pursuing the subject, and told me to get an IT company to help. After a couple of calls, NO ONE wanted to figure out the issue. I called back a second time, and was given a couple of suggestions. I called the Internet provider back. The rep was unable to see the issue. So she asked to conference call with Broadvoice and myself. The rep I got at Broadvoice, {A...}, was very helpful! He was willing to do the conference call. The three of us spent better than an hour going over every detail of the modem, router, cables, etc. He was very helpful and patient! We finally got everything to the point of having phones that work! He even requested that I follow up to be sure the new cable (he suggested we try a new ethernet cable), worked. So I just called and spoke with [J...]. [A...] left notes so that [J...] was easily able to assist me and make sure everything was in working order. He was patient as well. The problem was eventually solved and we are back in business with the phones! Thank you!

We use Broadvoice at Earthwatch for all our telecommunication. For all phone calls coming in from our volunteers and partners to calls within the organization. It works great for remote-working employees as well.
  • Making an organizations phone system easy to use
  • Adding contacts from a directory seems easy enough, but still complicated
I had a little glitch where people that were being transferred to my line were being dropped. I reached out to Broadvoice's customer services & was helped very quickly. The agent knew what he was talking about & was able to resolve the issue within that same day.

We use Broadvoice for our phone system. We have desk phones with them and also access to the B-Hive mobile app and online web portal for communication. Broadvoice provided us with an inexpensive alternative to the phone system we had and provided us with all new desk phones as well. The keep communication easy inside and outside of the building and their support system is very quick and easy to work with.
  • Support Assistance
  • Quality Phones
  • Ease of Use
  • Mobile app functionality doesn't always work perfectly
  • Voicemail navigation is a little long
I've been very impressed by the support center for Broadvoice. Everyone always dreads calling a support line and Broadvoice's is quick and easy to work with. I've never had trouble when calling for help. They were very easy to work with in the initial purchasing process and it was very easy to set up the phones when they went online. They have been very reliable and affordable for us.

We previously had a legacy phone system which was no longer supported, and the service behind it (in our case, a T1) was starting to cost too much. We also felt we could benefit from moving to a more modern system in terms of working from home, out in the field, etc., bringing the phone number with us. Also, the possibility of better interface between the phone system and the desktop tools was appealing.
  • Reliability and uptime are excellent
  • Response to support requests have been quick
  • Even including rental of phone equipment, we have saved money from what we paid for only the phone service previously.
  • It is somewhat a factor of the Poly phones we are using, and so maybe nothing to be done by Broadvoice - but conferencing in a second person on a call involves pressing way too many buttons.
  • The automated voice prompts for the voicemail system are in a weird voice that is sometimes too loud, sometimes too soft, and that says "congratulations" when mailbox is empty. Just a little silly.
  • Cannot add comment when forwarding a voicemail message to another user. We used to do this all the time in the previous system. (It can be done through email, forwarding the sound file as an mp3, but as some computers don't even have speakers, it's not as convenient in our use case.)
Because this is a PBX-free system, it's pretty usable by any small to medium business. I think it would be overkill for a 3 person office. At the other end, an enterprise-level company would possibly want to have greater control over their own system and may not want to use a cloud-based service. Works great for us.

We use this for our main phone system and those of us in the office use the Communicator to communicate with field employees via text
  • Allows you to customize your phone system
  • Has 24-7 customer support on line and by phone
  • Provides Training Up Front on system
  • A lot of email communicating during implementation(which is great!) but was a little confused and what role each person was playing in our new service as we got new phones and new service.
Provides excellent support which is especially important upon implementation and user friendly websites. Communicator is favorite part!

We made the switch to Broadvoice last summer. We have been very pleased with the level of support and have had no issues. What little we've had to call support they are easily able to walk us thru things.
  • Ease of use
  • Great support
  • Intuitive platform
  • Honestly we haven't had issues with Broadvoice
  • We've had a few customer service reps that maybe weren't absolutely the friendliest, but we got the answers we needed!
Biggest change we've had to used to is when the internet is down, the phones are down. That was new to us with the voip switch but we got hot spots for all users for less than $40 for those rare occasions!

We use Broadvoice as our only phone service carrier at a high volume family law firm. We use Broadvoice in connection with Yealink devices (multiple phones, including a conference room "spider" style phone) and the 3CX platform, which provides us the ability to make calls via a desktop application, instant message one another in the office, send text messages to clients when necessary, etc). We have had little to no issues since acquiring Broadvoice service, as opposed to our previous provider who left us without phone service for entire days on a pretty frequent basis, with very slow resolution times; this impacted our business greatly, as we receive 100+ calls most days. The service and connection provided through Broadvoice has been very reliable, and is easy to set up and use. An account manager also followed up with me a few times as we began services, which was thoughtful. I did not wind up having any questions or concerns to address with him, but if I had, the follow up would have been even more helpful. Overall, great experience so far. Pricing is reasonable in comparison to similar services, and the quality exceeds that of past services utilized. Broadvoice invoices are easy to read and to understand, and it is great to know that support is reachable should we need it.
  • Reliable connection
  • Friendly account manager
  • Seamless service
  • Reasonable price point
  • Easy to use
  • Straightforward and to the point
  • Compatible with desktop applications and equipment
  • More education regarding Broadvoice services offered would be great
  • I didn't choose Broadvoice myself, as we trust our IT company to handle those things; so I wasn't very familiar with all of the features and the process of getting things set up. However, I did not really need to be and we have had zero issues.
  • Had some fuzzy connections in the very beginning after setup - unsure why, but resolution was quick and efficient
As a busy law firm, Broadvoice has served us well. I can't think of a reason or a time that we would need anything different. Given that we receive several hundred calls per week, reliable phone service is essential to the operation of the firm and ultimately drives our business. I imagine that Broadvoice would be a great solution for any business with high call volume, whether inbound or outbound.

Broadvoice gives us an opportunity to communicate throughout our company with our coworkers and clients in a quick and effective manner. We use it in over 50 different properties to be able to connect with one another on a daily basis. Broadvoice allows us to customize settings for the different locations to meet specific needs for each one.
  • Customer Service is quick to respond and resolve any issues
  • Easy Set Up
  • Communication from the company is timely and informative
  • Website is a little outdated
  • Improved connected functionality with different accounts
  • App seems to be missing many of the features we can access on a desktop
A company with more phone resources needed has been great with our company with little issues. When there are issues it is usually resolved quickly. Maybe not so good for a smaller company who doesn't use phones much. Also works great mainly for landlines but with limited app functionality it can be an issue.

We use Broadvoice for our main phone line at the office. We also use the b-hive app for employees who work from home. Being able to receive phone calls and have little to no issues with the phone system is important to me. My main job is answering phones and making sure that clients receive the best experience when they talk to me. If there's an issue with the system, it makes it frustrating for clients and therefore me. Broadvoice is easy to use and they have a great team with fast solutions that actually work.

We are a small company and everyone wears MANY hats. The system allows us complete flexibility and easily adapts to our changing needs. I can quickly redesign the platform as needed, keeping control over the first impression our customers receive when they call us.
  • Text message notifications!
  • Friendly tech support team
  • Customizable profiles for each user that easily guide you to what you need
  • B hive app compatibility with Android/Galaxy phone
  • Platform causes A LOT of SPAM calls. A way to filter these and auto block them would be appreciated
Companies that do not have a dedicated IT DEPT, but want a digital solution that manages the business and provides features and benefits that were traditionally only available on complicated, expensive platforms, will be very happy with the folks at Broadvoice. We are a 24/7/365 mobile equine veterinary practice. We struggled with our after-office hours answering service for years. Either the cost was prohibitive, or the operator training was lacking. Broadvoice was able to set us up with a call answering and forwarding system that allows the doctors to answer the clients calling in with emergencies, which has raised our customer service status even more. We are set for automatic rollover at lunchtime and when we close. We simply put the on-call doctor's cell number in the portal and we are good to go. Voicemails from clients and from doctors go to one email account but are labeled differently, so our vet assistants and scheduler can process them efficiently.
  • Understanding what we needed
  • Wicked fast email replise
  • 24/7 tech support
  • We like the Polycom phones
  • For the interested purchaser, videos showing how the system works
  • Detailed training videos
We had a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, for Broadvoice and for us. Some of our staff are baby boomers, so they were not born able ready. Other office situations can just be set up with voicemail after office hours. Our system cannot end with a voicemail message. If a client calls in with an emergency, they need to reach a human being. The app has fit us well, allowing the doctors to be contacted after office hours. If we decide to have a meeting and it's a beautiful day out, we can take our cell phones and chairs and meet outside. It did take almost a year to get the holiday program set up to work properly.

As an IT professional I have found a need for an affordable and reliable VOIP company that I can recommend to my customers. Broadvoice has filled that role and has done a very good job with managing the customer's needs. We use their VOIP products which includes a vast array of options some of which are not even capable with an on premises PBX. Traditional PBX systems are limited in capabilities and can be very expensive with line costs every month. Broadvoice simplifies billing and cuts costs with monthly line charges as well, overall providing my customers reliable service at a more than fair price. With any service there can be issues and again Broadvoice has done a stellar job with support. The support staff is very knowledgeable and are easy to get a hold of if issues arise. They assign tickets and they are resolved in a timely manner. Installation of the system was done very professionally with a Broadvoice technician on hand working with my networking consulting team. Broadvoice has saved my customers money on telecommunication costs month after month and I will continue to recommend their company.
  • Installation services is done very professionally
  • Technical Support is easy to reach
  • Billing is simplified
  • Phones can be a little better quality
  • Pricing is a little higher than other providers
Well suited for smaller companies from 1-75. Above 75 the benefits of a VOIP provider become questionable based on the monthly costs. At some point an on-premises PBX starts to become the least expensive option even if the options it provides are not as great as what a hosted VOIP system provides.
